- Personal Notes & Bookmarks: Any legal notes you write or sections you bookmark are stored to provide the core functionality of the Application.
- User Feedback: Information you provide when contacting us for support or providing suggestions.
B. Automatically Collected Information
To improve our service and provide advertisements (for non-subscribed users), we use third-party tools that automatically collect:
- Device Identifiers: Advertising ID, Android ID, and IP Address.
- Usage Data: Pages viewed, time spent in the app, and interaction with features.
- Device Info: Device model, operating system version, and mobile network information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for various purposes, including:
- Account Synchronization: To sync your bookmarks and notes across multiple devices using Google Drive and our secure servers at bgstechnology.com.
- Premium Status Verification: To verify and maintain your "Ad-Free" subscription status online.
- Analytics: To understand user behavior and improve the app's legal database and tools.
- Push Notifications: To send daily legal sections and important app updates via OneSignal.
- Data Portability: To allow you to export your saved data as a PDF document for personal use.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The Application uses third-party SDKs that may collect information used to identify you. We share data with these providers only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services:
- Google Play Services: Required for app functionality and security.
- AdMob: Displays advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to show personalized ads.
- Firebase Analytics: Helps us track app performance and crashes.
- OneSignal: Manages the delivery of push notifications.

4. Data Storage and Security
Your data security is our priority. We implement the following measures:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between the Application and our servers is encrypted using Industry-standard SSL/TLS (HTTPS).
- Cloud Backup: We use Google Drive's restricted App Data folder, which is inaccessible to other apps, and a private MySQL database for redundant backup.
- No Offline Storage: For enhanced security, your premium status is verified online in real-time and is not stored permanently in the device's local storage.
5. User Rights & Account Deletion
In compliance with international data protection laws (including GDPR and Google Play policies), we provide users with full control over their data:
- Access & Export: You can view and export your saved data at any time via the "Export PDF" tool.
- Data Deletion: You have the right to delete your account. This can be done within the Profile > Delete Account section of the app.
- Consequences of Deletion: Deleting your account will permanently erase your bookmarks, notes, and subscription records from our database and Google Drive. This action is irreversible.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we delete it from our servers immediately.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the top will be updated. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
